• Melissa Community Expo 2009
  
  The MARC CSU will be demonstrated during the Melissa Impact Week 2009, on 15 August. This is an excellent forum to publicize amateur radio and MARC’s capabilities. Last year this community expo had about 5000 people at the event.

  The activities included visits to the Melissa Fire Dept., a PHI air ambulance, about 40 antique cars, a live band, and public health screening for blood sugar and pressure.  Any further questions can be answered by Rod or Kay Adams via email kradams at dfwair.net (add the "@") or via phone at 972 837-4885. The address for the event is 2600 N. SH 121, Melissa , TX 75454 . It is on the north side of SH 121 between the only two stop lights in Melissa. It is about 1 mile north of the Field Day site. Event Times: Starts at 4:00pm and ends at 9:00pm
